dancehub.io works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. The Chrome extension (for clipping directly from YouTube) requires Chrome or Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.). For the best experience, keep your browser updated to the latest version.

How do I practice with a clip?

Set the clip start and end times by pressing A at the start position and B at the end position. You can also drag the timeline handles to adjust. Once set, click the clip or press play — the video will loop between your marked times. Use Space to pause/play, S to slow down, D to speed up, M to mute, and P to add rest between repetitions (cycles through Off → 3s → 5s → 10s). The Chrome extension clips any YouTube video, but videos in the dancehub.io library are hand-selected from social dance congresses. You can clip and save any YouTube video to your personal library for practice, but only videos in our curated library appear in the public Explore section. Your personal clips are private by default unless you choose to make them public.

Can I share clips with others?

Yes — you can make clips public and share them via a permanent link. Public clips appear in your profile and can be shared with anyone. Each public clip has its own shareable URL (e.g. dancehub.io/clip/abc123) that anyone can view and loop. You can change a clip's visibility at any time from your library.

Currently, dancehub.io features Salsa (on1, on2, Cuban style), Bachata, and Kizomba. All videos are captured from social dance congresses and showcase real-world dancers in natural settings, not instructional tutorials. We're always adding more styles and dancers — if you have requests, let us know!

Dancers are hand-picked from social dance congress footage, not selected algorithmically. Our editorial team watches hours of congress videos and selects the best dancers based on skill, style, and variety. This means you get curated, high-quality content from real dance events — not a random feed. We aim to showcase the full spectrum of the social dance community.

Can I suggest a dancer or video?

Absolutely! We'd love to hear your suggestions. Email us at hello@dancehub.io with the dancer's name, YouTube video link, or any other context. We review all suggestions and prioritize requests from the community. Your input helps us build a better library.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

You can delete your account anytime from your account settings. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will remove all your personal data, saved clips, and bookmarks. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have any questions before deleting, email us at hello@dancehub.io.
